Desireé Cotton-Turner is the Founder and Managing Attorney of DC Strategic Consulting, LLC. A native of Monroe, Louisiana, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Grambling State University and her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center.

Licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Desiree has built her career around advocacy, client education, and helping individuals navigate legal systems that can often feel overwhelming. Her experience includes family law, child welfare matters, estate planning, and successions, expungements, and criminal defense.

Desiree has served as a parent attorney in Child in Need of Care proceedings and provides indigent criminal defense through her public-defense work, including service in Zachary City Court. She is also a certified mediator and Louisiana notary public.

Through DC Strategic Consulting, Desiree brings that experience to a practice centered on personalized service and practical legal guidance. She believes clients should not only have an advocate - they should understand the process, their options, and the decisions affecting their future.
